The Hawaii Pacific Energy Group (HPEG) provides a complete set of procurement services for the implementation of renewable and alternative energy projects in the biofuels, waste-to-energy technology, and other renewable energy sectors.
HPEG's procurement services include:
- Preparation of construction, equipment, and materials specifications and conditions;
- Equipment lead time research;
- Construction materials and equipment supply contracts, including under FIDIC conditions, if required;
- Bid document packages and bid solicitation;
- Bid evaluation, negotiations with selected bidders, and award of contracts, sub-contracts, and purchase orders;
- Purchase of materials, equipment and services directly from a client's qualified bidders list;
- Administration of purchase orders;
- Evaluation of suppliers' materials quality against project specifications;
- Expediting services;
- Procurement tracking from bid issuance to delivery at project site;
- Material receiving and storage/warehousing; and
- Delivery and installation.
